The Dundee Hills is where Oregon Pinot Noir first won its worldwide reputation. Sixty years ago, the first vines that would turn this region into a globally recognized American Viticulture Area (AVA) renowned for its award-winning wines were planted. The Dundee Hills proudly heralds itself as the birthplace of Oregon’s illustrious Pinot Noir movement. Rooted in the earth’s bounty, with the famous Jory red soils underfoot, these wines garner attention from around the world.

The Dundee Hills AVA thrives thanks to dedicated farmers who nurture their vineyards with unwavering devotion. This region's rich history sets the bar for winemakers here, yet they always remain open to new varietals, innovative farming techniques, and evolving winemaking practices. Dundee is 35 miles south of Portland. We'll meet you at the airport and commence exploring Dundee Hills on foot, by car, and by bus depending on our daily itinerary. The downtown corridor offers numerous tasting rooms and restaurants, all within walking distance.
