Canada is calling and we must go! Located across the mountains to the east of Vancouver, in the southern interior of BC, the Okanagan Valley is the largest Canadian wine region. Over 8,600 acres of vines are planted in this vibrant wine community.

The valley stretches across distinct sub-regions of different soil and climate conditions suited for growing a range of varietals. Valley production today is fairly evenly divided between red and white wines. This grape escape will include visits to world-class operations, as well as family run boutique vineyards. People believed vinifera wouldn't grow in Canada. But, the Okanagan Valley is different. Located three minutes and 19 seconds north of latitude 50, Okanagon is situated right in the sweet spot of wine country, perfect for growing any varietals they want.

With more than 120 wineries, the Okanagan Valley is British Columbia's oldest, largest, and most popular wine-producing region. Get ready for a stunning guided wine tour to discover complex Pinot Noirs, vibrant Chardonnays and sweet Ice wines at wineries perched above glittering lakes.

There are many award-winning wines in the Okanagan. In 2013, one of the wineries we will visit won an esteemed International Trophy – the competition's top prize – for the "World's Best Pinot Noir" award at the Decanter World Wine Awards.

Wineries range from large, luxurious facilities to small family-run vineyards. We'll tour magnificent estates and enjoy intimate tastings at boutique wineries We'll combine wine touring with the Okanagan’s laid-back lifestyle, savoring dishes with ingredients from the Okanagan Valley paired with their world-class wines.
