Meet the Hosts of Dirt Road Wine Tours

Complete and insufferable wine fanatics, Carl and Donna, intimately know the farm wine industry -- they have been one of them for over 18 years! A home winemaking hobby-gone-wild led this duo to a full blown crush requiring vineyard management and wine making college, finding Southeast facing slopes, planting vines, buying giant tanks and barrels, opening a tasting room, and hosting Dirt Road Wine Academy classes and winemakers dinners at their own highly awarded farm winery. Three generations of the family have now worked on their 55 acre farm.

Actively involved in agritourism -- Carl and Donna have become razor focused on the importance of the worldwide initiative to protect Earths farmland for future generations. Dirt Road Wine Tours are the next iteration of their obsessive vino adventure. They are ready to take us to the wine to meet, learn and support the most incredible small winery farms in the world. Exclusive excursions include educational visits, winemaker pairings, dinners with experiential food and wine components, and personal glimpses of why we should all be supporting and protecting farms!
